Recognising this crucial transition, Des O’Donnell introduced the Under-20 Easter Tournament in 1980, an event that remains a cornerstone of youth rugby development and has helped shape today’s structured league and cup competitions across all youth age groups.

Yes — we welcome players of all abilities, whether new to rugby or returning after time away.
Rugby boots, a gumshield (mandatory), a water bottle, and suitable training clothing. If a player is new and doesn’t yet have boots, we will do our best to help with spares where possible.
