In recent years, our growth has been remarkable. From just 11 registered players in 2015, we now field five full squads. In 2024, our 1XI reached the final of the All Ireland Challenge Cup — a proud moment that reflects the ambition and talent within our club.
We are proud to have a vibrant youth section, with teams at: P1 up to Under 15s. Our junior programme helps girls of all ages develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy the game in a fun, encouraging setting. We also run a Young Leaders programme, giving youth members the chance to take on responsibilities around the club, build leadership skills and contribute meaningfully to our future.
Instonians Ladies Hockey Club is proudly committee-run, with all committee members being current players. This ensures that decisions are made with insight, empathy and a shared commitment to the club’s values and progress.
Off the pitch, we enjoy a lively and well-supported social calendar. From team nights out and club dinners to fundraising events and community initiatives, there’s always something happening. These moments bring our members together, strengthen friendships and celebrate everything that makes our club special.
